Which poems fit which structure?
In order to help you answer the above question I will present three different poems which I think fit each outline structure best. However, you may very well disagree with me and think that a poem fits with an outline structure different from the one I had assigned it to. This is because you will have your own ideas and interpretation of the poem and this will cause you to choose a different outline structure. Remember: choose the outline structure that best fits YOUR interpretation.
Important to Note!
Notice how in each of the three different outline structures the basic organization remains the same (introduction, main points, conclusion). Also, what is written under "introduction" and "conclusion" is also similar in all three examples. Thus, no matter what structure you choose, you will still be proving your thesis and being organized in your response, but with a different approach in each structure.
